Day 01 :

Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park – Game Drive

Flight time: 06:00 AM – approx. 1 hour

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park. Upon landing, your guide will meet you at the airstrip and take you on your first game drive through the park’s vast and wildlife-rich landscapes. Enjoy sightings of elephants, zebras, lions, giraffes, and birdlife. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue the drive before heading to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 02 :

Full Day Guided Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Main activity: Full-day game drive

After a hearty breakfast, set out for a full day of wildlife exploration. With your experienced guide, you’ll track animals across the savannah, woodlands, and riverbanks. Expect to see predators, large herbivores, and diverse bird species. A bush picnic lunch will be served mid-day before continuing your adventure into the afternoon.

Day 03 :

Full Day Game Drive + Evening Boat Safari

Main activity: Game drive + boat safari

Start your day with another exciting game drive, covering new areas of the park and seeking out elusive wildlife such as leopards or African wild dogs. After returning to the camp in the afternoon to refresh, head out in the early evening for a boat safari along the scenic Rufiji River. Glide past crocodiles, hippos, and water birds as the sun sets, offering a peaceful and picturesque end to the day.

Day 04 :

Guided Walking Safari + Relaxed Afternoon

Main activity: Morning walking safari

Today begins with a guided walking safari at sunrise. Accompanied by an armed ranger, this up-close bush walk focuses on animal tracks, plants, birds, and smaller wildlife often missed during game drives. After breakfast back at camp, enjoy a relaxed day with optional short game drives or simply unwind at the lodge, soaking in the tranquility of the wilderness.

Day 05 :

Early Morning Flight to Zanzibar

Flight time: 07:00 AM

After a very early morning coffee or tea, transfer to the airstrip for your 07:00 AM flight back to Zanzibar. You’ll arrive by mid-morning, concluding your unforgettable Nyerere safari adventure with amazing photos and lasting memories.
