Day 01 :

Journey from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi & Afternoon Safari

Leave Dar es Salaam early in the morning and travel toward Mikumi National Park, enjoying changing landscapes, local villages, and views of the Uluguru Mountains along the journey. After arriving in the Mikumi area, enter the park for your first wildlife adventure. Spend the afternoon searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and possibly lions before leaving the park and continuing to your accommodation.

Day 02 :

Discover the Wildlife of Mikumi National Park

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Mikumi National Park. Following breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive through its wide-open grasslands and wildlife-rich areas. Explore the famous Mkata Floodplain, where animals gather in large numbers throughout the year. Keep your camera ready for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, wildebeests, and predators such as lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration.

Day 03 :

Explore the Natural Wonders of Udzungwa Mountains

• Driving time to Udzungwa: Approximately 1.5–2 Hours
• Main activity: Hiking & Nature Walk

After breakfast, travel to the beautiful Udzungwa Mountains, one of Tanzania's most important areas for forests and biodiversity. Join a guided hiking experience through lush vegetation while enjoying fresh air, colorful birds, and fascinating plant life. Discover the peaceful beauty of the rainforest and, depending on your chosen hiking route, visit scenic viewpoints or waterfalls. Later, travel back to Mikumi and relax at your lodge.

Day 04 :

Maasai Cultural Experience & Return to Dar es Salaam

• Main activity: Maasai Cultural Tour & Transfer

After breakfast, begin your final day with a visit to a local Maasai community. Experience the traditions and lifestyle of one of Tanzania's best-known cultural groups while learning about their customs, homes, clothing, and connection with the surrounding environment. After the visit, say goodbye to Mikumi and begin your drive back to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive later in the day.

Best Family safari with Safari Escort We visited Tanzania as a family of 8 people and had to see Great Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti for the first time.
