Day 01 :

Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive & Overnight Inside the Park

Drive time: Approx. 4–5 hours
Main activity: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

Begin your safari with an early morning departure from Arusha at 05:00 AM and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After reaching the crater, descend into this ancient volcanic caldera — home to one of the richest wildlife populations in Africa. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and possibly even the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing your wildlife drive. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge situated within the park, offering beautiful views and a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.

Day 02 :

Transfer to Ndutu & Afternoon Game Drive

Drive time: Approx. 2–3 hours
Main activity: Afternoon game drive in Ndutu

After breakfast, depart from Ngorongoro and drive to the Ndutu region, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and a bit of rest.

In the afternoon, head out on your first Ndutu game drive. This area is one of the best places to witness the wildebeest calving season, as large herds gather on the open plains. You might also spot lions, cheetahs, and hyenas drawn by the easy prey.

Day 03 :

Full-Day Safari in Ndutu – Wildebeest Calving Season

Main activity: Full-day game drive in Ndutu

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring the Ndutu plains. This region is rich in wildlife and birdlife during the migration season. Watch young wildebeest learning to walk, and predators like big cats keeping a close watch. Your guide will drive through open grasslands, wooded areas, and seasonal lakes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and a relaxing night under the stars.

Day 04 :

NgoNdutu to Arusha – Morning Game Drive & Returnrongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha

Drive time: Approx. 6–7 hours
Main activity: Optional morning game drive & return to Arusha

Start the day with a relaxed breakfast or an optional short game drive (if time allows), then begin your journey back to Arusha. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes and make stops for photos or shopping if desired. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
