Your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha, heading west toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After ascending the highlands, you’ll descend into the famed Ngorongoro Crater — the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth and a wildlife haven with one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa.

During your guided game drive, look out for endangered black rhinos, prides of lions, herds of buffalo, and elephants roaming the crater floor. The central soda lake is often dotted with flamingos, and hippos lounge in the shallows. After an immersive day of exploration, ascend the crater rim and head to your nearby tented camp for a relaxing evening in nature.

Start your day with a guided walking safari along the crater rim or surrounding highlands. After the walk, begin your scenic journey into the world-famous Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll pass through Maasai lands and vast savannahs, with a chance to spot wildlife even before reaching the park gate. Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy your first game drive through the eastern Serengeti, when predators become active and the golden light makes for stunning photography.

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast and vibrant Serengeti. Set out early to catch the morning wildlife activity, and spend the day traversing different habitats — from acacia-dotted woodlands to wide open grasslands.

Search for the "Big Cats" — lions, leopards, and cheetahs — often seen lounging on rocky kopjes or stalking prey. Watch herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles grazing on the plains, and keep an eye on watering holes where elephants and buffalo gather. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your safari into the afternoon.

Return to camp for a sunset drink and dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the bush.
