Mikumi’s wide, open plains resemble the Serengeti, and today you'll spend the full day exploring them. This park is excellent for spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and a rich variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and return to the camp as the sun begins to set.

After breakfast, drive to nearby Udzungwa Mountains National Park for a unique hiking experience. You can swim in the pool, enjoy birdwatching, and maybe spot primates like colobus monkeys along the way. Return to Mikumi in the afternoon.
