Tour Itinerary

• Travel Time: Approx. 1 hour drive

• Highlight/Activity: Game viewing in Arusha National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, your guide will meet you and take you on a short and beautiful drive to Arusha National Park. This small park is full of green trees, small lakes, and tall hills between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.

You will go on a gentle game drive, looking for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and the black-and-white colobus monkeys playing in the trees. On a clear day, you might see both Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. After your nature adventure, return to Arusha for a quiet evening.
• Overnight: Masailand Safari Lodge

• Travel Time: Approx. 5–6 hours

• Highlight/Activity: Engaresero Waterfall walk and Lake Natron flamingo visit

Today you will travel into the wild and dry land of the Great Rift Valley. The drive is long but very beautiful, passing Maasai villages, tall mountains, and wide open valleys.

When you reach Lake Natron, you will hike to a lovely waterfall hidden in a rocky canyon. Later in the day, enjoy a peaceful walk near the lake, where thousands of flamingos gather in the shallow waters. The view of the volcano and birds is magical.

• Overnight: Moivaro Tented Camp

• Travel Time: Approx. 5–6 hours with game drive en route

• Highlight/Activity: Scenic drive and game viewing upon entering Serengeti

After an early breakfast, leave Lake Natron and drive across quiet land that is far from the usual path. The land is wild and open, with big views of volcanoes and hills.

As you enter Serengeti through a special gate in the northeast, your wildlife adventure begins. Look for antelopes, giraffes, and lions as you move deeper into the park. Your camp awaits in the heart of nature.

• Overnight: Kilima Valley Tented Camp

• Travel Time: Within park, full-day drive

• Highlight/Activity: Sunrise and afternoon game drives across central Serengeti

Wake up early to explore the wide open land of Serengeti. This park is famous for having more wild animals than anywhere else in Africa.

You will go out when it’s still cool, a time when lions and cheetahs are active. Look for elephants, zebras, leopards, and hyenas in the grasslands and around rocky hills. Have a picnic in the wild, then continue your game drive in the afternoon.

• Overnight: Kilima Valley Tented Camp

• Travel Time: Within park, full-day drive

• Highlight/Activity: Extended exploration of Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems

Today is another day to enjoy the great beauty of Serengeti. Follow the movement of the animals and search for rare sights like hunting lions or the cheetah’s chase.

If your visit matches the time of the Great Migration, you may see large groups of wildebeest and zebras crossing the plains together. Your guide will plan the day based on where the animals are most active.

• Overnight: Kilima Valley Tented Camp

• Travel Time: Approx. 4–5 hours with game drive en route

• Highlight/Activity: Final Serengeti game drive and scenic transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands

Enjoy a relaxed morning drive as you leave Serengeti behind. You may still see animals like rhinos or leopards before reaching the edge of Ngorongoro.

Stop at the crater rim to see the view below, then continue to the cool highlands of Karatu. This small town is surrounded by green farms and coffee fields – a perfect place to rest.

• Overnight: Masailand Coffee Lodge

• Travel Time: Approx. 1 hours to crater, full-day safari

• Highlight/Activity: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, picnic by hippo pool

After breakfast, drive into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. This round valley was once a giant volcano. Now it is home to many animals, including the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

Spend the day driving around the crater floor, watching hippos in the water, lions resting in the grass, and maybe even spotting the rare black rhino. Enjoy lunch near a pool before heading back to Karatu.

• Overnight: Masailand Coffee Lodge

• Travel Time: Approx. 2 hours to park and back

• Highlight/Activity: Game drive in Tarangire National Park

This morning, drive to Tarangire National Park, a peaceful place known for its big herds of elephants and tall baobab trees.

Watch animals come to drink near the Tarangire River, and look for giraffes, zebras, lions, and many birds. In the afternoon, you will leave the park and head toward Karatu.

• Overnight: Masailand Coffee Lodge

• Travel Time: Approx. 1 hour to park, 2.5 hours to Arusha

• Highlight/Activity: Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park

Start the day with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but rich park filled with green trees and animals.

Drive through the forest where you might see monkeys, elephants, and if lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions. Near the lake, look for flamingos and pelicans feeding along the shore. After your game drive, drive back to Arusha in the afternoon where your journey ends.
