Your Tanzania safari begins with a hotel pick-up in Arusha in the morning. From here, your guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, a peaceful haven known for its big elephant herds and tall baobab trees. As you enter the park, the adventure begins — you’ll head out on a game drive across its open plains and woodland, watching for giraffes, zebras, lions, and many colorful birds. In the late afternoon, your journey continues to the highlands of Karatu, where you’ll relax for the night in a hillside lodge with views of the green valley below.

With the golden light of the late afternoon, this is a magical time to see big cats beginning to stir and herds crossing the grasslands. Today is dedicated to exploring the heart of Serengeti. You’ll start early, heading out on a full-day safari across its changing landscapes — from riverbanks and forests to wide, grassy plains.

Your guide will help you track lions, cheetahs, and maybe even a leopard resting in a tree. Along the way, you’ll see hundreds of zebras and wildebeest moving together and stop for a picnic lunch in the bush. This is a day of true adventure, ending with a relaxing evening back at the lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive through the Serengeti. This is a perfect time to catch animals still active from the night — elephants walking through the morning mist or predators finishing their hunt.

In the early afternoon, you’ll begin the drive toward Ngorongoro, passing through changing landscapes and stopping for views along the way. Arrive at your camp near the crater in the evening, where the air is cooler and the hills are green.
