Listen first
We begin with your travel dates, interests, group needs, pace and comfort preferences so the itinerary starts with you.
Safari Escort creates thoughtful private safaris, Kilimanjaro journeys, Zanzibar escapes and tailor-made combinations with practical local knowledge at the heart of every plan.
Safari Escort is a Tanzania-based travel company focused on making complex journeys feel simple. We connect wildlife areas, mountain routes, island stays, flights, road transfers and carefully timed overnight stops into one clear travel experience.
Our planning starts by listening. We consider your dates, pace, interests and preferred level of comfort, then shape the journey around what is practical on the ground. The result is not just a list of places to visit, but a route designed to flow naturally from one experience to the next.
Tanzania rewards thoughtful planning. Wildlife moves with the seasons, park distances matter, mountain routes need sensible acclimatization and island connections must fit real flight and transfer times. We bring those details together before the journey begins.
Whether you are exploring the northern circuit, travelling into southern Tanzania, climbing Kilimanjaro or combining safari with Zanzibar, our role is to keep the experience clear, realistic and personal from the first conversation to the final transfer.
Good travel design is a sequence of thoughtful choices. We keep the process simple while paying attention to the details that make the experience smoother.

We connect parks, roads, flights, trekking routes and overnight stops in a realistic order that makes sense on the ground.

Our local team remains available while you travel, giving you a clear point of contact throughout your journey in Tanzania.
At Safari Escort, we believe responsible tourism is about more than unforgettable adventures. It is also an opportunity to give back to the communities that make Tanzania such a special place to visit.
We work in partnership with Youth Empowerment & Psychotherapy Aid Organization (YEPAO) to support care, rehabilitation and empowerment for young people affected by drug addiction and related challenges.
YEPAO is a Tanzanian non-governmental, non-profit organization established in May 2019 and registered under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children under registration number 00NGO/R/00010176.
The organization grew from school programs and sober-house counselling delivered through the Elimisha Initiative's 2016 pilot program in mainland Tanzania. That work highlighted the need for accessible psychological services, youth empowerment, drug-abuse prevention and counselling.
YEPAO develops practical programs, resources and services informed by current research and better practice for children, young people, parents, teachers and people affected by drug addiction. Its work includes mental-health awareness, psychosocial support, guidance and counselling, drug and alcohol treatment, prevention education and rehabilitation support.
A community that is well informed and empowered economically, socially and psychologically.
To strengthen community development through capacity building and psychological aid, especially for young people, improving well-being across the community.
By choosing Safari Escort, you are not only exploring Tanzania—you are also helping create a brighter future for the next generation.

Useful answers about how we plan journeys and what working with a local Tanzania-based team means for your trip.
Tanzania is a large country with very different safari regions, seasonal wildlife movements, mountain conditions and island connections. Local planning helps turn those pieces into realistic travel days with sensible driving times, transfers and overnight stops. It also means there is a team on the ground that understands the practical side of your route.
Yes. Existing itineraries can be a useful starting point, but your dates, group size, pace, preferred accommodation style and must-see places can change the final route. We look at those details together and adjust the journey where the logistics allow it.
Safari Escort works across Tanzania's major travel experiences, including wildlife safaris, Kilimanjaro and mountain journeys, Zanzibar holidays, day trips and combination itineraries that connect more than one region or travel style in a single journey.
The Safari Escort Tanzania Community Support Program reflects our commitment to travel that creates local value with dignity and respect. Its guiding principles are community-led priorities, local opportunity, respectful connection and responsible long-term benefit rather than staged or exploitative experiences.
Yes. Your guides and local operations team remain part of the journey once travel begins. The exact people involved depend on your itinerary, but the aim is to give you a clear local point of contact for the different stages of your trip.
